 About how long will it take to receive my order?
We are a small business and often times our furniture products are not in stock and are instead built by hand - per your order. Because we want to give your new furniture and accessories our proper attention, it can take us a few days to make it. Then, if you choose a Penofin® finish, it can take several more days for the oil to properly dry (due to our non-stop Texas humidity this can take up to a full 5 days. Ugh!). For these reasons, we generally get your products shipped out somewhere between 5 and 7 business days. However, if our order volumes are high, it may take us a bit longer to ship; likewise, if our orders are low, we may get your order to you sooner. We work diligently to get your orders to you as soon as possible and we strive to keep you informed of when you can expect to receive your order.
Why should I choose cedar over other products?
Please take some time to read the "Our Products" and the "About Cedar" pages of our site for information on Western Red Cedar's great properties. In addition to all of that information, we would add:
Western Red Cedar furniture will not bow or sag over time - it will keep its structure unlike most plastic or resin furniture - and many other woods.
Unlike metal furniture, Western Red Cedar will not rust - nor will our stainless screws or hardware.
Cedar is lighter than treated woods (yet 80% the strength of oak).
What is Penofin® and why did you choose it for a finish?
Penofin® Blue Label is a Brazilian Rosewood Oil that penetrates deeply to protect against moisture, hardens and protects individual wood fibers and virtually eliminates fading due to sunlight.
